Event Details

Over the coming months, the National Campaign for the Arts is holding a seminar tour across the nation. The aim of the tour is to develop an Arts Manifesto for the next General Election.

In order to develop this vital advocacy tool we are seeking input from a wide range of artists and arts organisations. The seminars will look back at previous election and arts manifestos, reflect on what progress has been made, and consider where further steps need to be taken to achieve crucial goals for the arts world. The NCA will then draw together the input from across the country and collate it into the Manifesto for the Arts, which we intend to present at a national conference in late April next year.

This event is open to anyone with an interest in the arts. We want to hear from as wide a cross section of people as possible.

Don’t worry if you can’t attend this session, we are holding sessions across the whole of the UK over the coming months

The NCA is the UK's only independent lobbying organisation representing all the arts.

Its mission is to be the leading independent and UK-wide voice for the arts world in all its diversity.

Its vision is that the value of the arts will be understood and recognised by government, and that the arts will be adequately resourced as a key element in our national culture.
